Jonathan Pease Ph.D., P.E.(Nevada), G.E.(California)
Jonathan is an associate geotechnical engineer for Marvin E Davis and Assocaites, a Reno geotechnical firm. He previously worked for Kleinfelder (Reno, Nevada), Black Eagle Consulting (Reno), and URS/Dames & Moore (San Francisco, California) since 1995. He has performed geotechnical investigations, analyses, and written reports for a wide range of development including refineries, geothermal power plants, storage tanks, cantilever, soil nail, and MSE retaining walls, levees and flood control projects, as well as a range of commercial buildings and residential developments.
Jonathan’s education included Deep Springs College in California for two years before attending Cornell University in New York for a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, with a geotechnical specialty. His Masters and Dissertation work involved assessment of liquefaction hazards based on data from San Francisco, California.
Jonathan has a family including his wife (Kyndale), Amelia (16), Solomon (12), and Eli (8. His interests include geology, gardening, and backpacking.
Dylan Menes, S.E., P.E., LEED AP
Dylan moved to Seattle in 2012 to a larger structural firm, and previously worked for Summit Engineering, Black Eagle Consulting, and AT&T in Reno, Nevada. Dylan attended the University of Nevada and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He has designed structures in all four building groups as well as segmental, geofoam, concrete, masonry, and reinforced earth retaining walls.
When not determining seismic forces, Dylan enjoys skiing, travel, music, cooking and camping.
